PLC Communication books recommendation

Hello Guys,

I just started learning about programming PLCs, I know very little to nothing about communication between PLCs, and have trouble understand the communication protocols, methods.
if anybody could recommend some books that explains and maybe have some examples using compact logix or micro 1400.
